As I sit here in the USPA annual meetings in Scottsdale, AZ, talking about USPA Polo, its future, its safety, its management and most importantly, its effectiveness in growing the sport, there is one program we manage at PDLLC that in my opinion Rocks. It is Team USPA!

Listed below are the Top 10 reasons Team USPA is doing us proud in every circuit, every state and now, with 6 Team USPA members chosen to participate in FIP, every-thing overseas.

It is completely satisfying to watch a program go from its infancy to reality and beyond your wildest dreams, Team USPA is one of those. A big Thank
You goes out to Amanda Snow for making it all happen. She is the best!

I am headed to Houston after this to observe a new technology in conjunction with Jeff Hildebrand called DARTFISH: Polo Performance & Swing Analytics. This cutting edge technology breaks down and analysis a player's swing and could be one of our new training techniques offered. (More about this later.) Then I am off to help manage the Instructors & Managers Forum and the Polo Instructor's Certification initiative out of the Houston Polo Club and Tonkawa Farms.

We don't let the grass grow much under our feet at PDLLC, and I wanted to mention how very proud I am of my hard working team and hope you are too. Give them a thanks, if you see them before I do, as they criss- cross this great country of ours taking care of your polo club's needs.

Have a great October!

Ps.  I don't know if you remember where you were when you were 22 years old, but I just have to brag on Team USPA member Remy Du Celliee Muller who was last seen on the trophy stage at the Santa Barbara Polo Club accepting a win with his team, for the 2014 Pacific Coast Open, and then traveling to Houston to receive the Team USPA High Goal Achievement Award that came with a check for a cool $10k. Quite an accomplishment for a young American Team USPA polo player his age and he hasn't even come close to reaching his potential. Keep an eye on this one!

#1 - They Reach 5 Goals
Team USPA is proud to announce that we have reached one of our founding goals! When the program launched we set our sights on one member reaching a 5 goal handicap within 5 years and as of January 1, 2015 Jesse Bray - Team USPA member since 2011, will be the first member to hold a 5 goal handicap. Jesse was rated 3 goals when he joined the program and Team USPA has supported him every step of the way.
